About this work

A young woman with bare breasts and a mirror in her hand walks down a yard. A pig runs after her. On the yard stands a rider and from a door an older man looks out. Two dogs are mating. Below the image stands a Latin verse by T. Schrevelius. On a separate plate a Dutch explanatory verse. A woman with loose morals can also bring a chaste man into trouble.
