About this work
Astrology, a winged woman with a star crown around her head, measures the distance between the constellations with a compass on a celestial globe. Her gaze is visionary, directed towards the sky. An old bearded man standing next to her looks in the same direction. Books and astrological instruments lie on the ground. Behind Astrology sits a peacock and to her right stands an eagle.
