About this work
Bust of Orlando, the protagonist of Ludovico Ariosto's epic 'Orlando Furioso'. On his head he wears a helmet decorated with a human figure that merges into leaves from below and a plume of feathers from above. In the upper right, the title and eight Italian verses from the epic.
