About this work
Scattering flowers, Aurora rides in her chariot drawn by two horses. Every morning Aurora drives away the night and brings the dawn. Before her float the Horae, the goddesses of the seasons. To the right Aurora's husband Tithonus watches her. Inscription in the lower margin and center bottom a coat of arms.
