About this work
The tongue of Saint Livinus is torn out. An executioner holds him by the beard, another man holds the tongs with the tongue. The horse in the background and the soldiers are startled as angels appear in the sky and a male figure causes lightning to strike. In the center below, a dedication in Latin and a coat of arms.
