About this work
The tongue of Saint Livinus is torn out. An executioner holds him by the beard, another man holds the pincers with the tongue and leads it to a dog. The horse in the background and the soldiers are startled as angels appear in the sky and a male figure causes lightning to strike. In the center below a dedication in Latin and a coat of arms. This print is part of an album.
