About this work
In a forehall, a man sits on a throne with a book on a lectern beside him. At his feet, a group of people are dining. Servants are running up. In the background, construction work is underway outside: sowing, plowing, and a tower being built or repaired. Below the image a line of Latin text (Eccles. 10:17).
