Portrait of Jacques de la Faille (1548-1615), colonel of the Antwerp civic guard, after 1584 merchant in Haarlem. Standing, turned to the left, right hand resting on a helmet, left hand on a sword. Well-dressed. In an oval with border inscription. Pendant to the portrait of his wife Josina Hamels.
