About this work
She is dressed in a bodice with passementerie and double shoulder rolls with knob decoration. Detachable sleeves with a different pattern than the bodice. Ruffled collar and ruffled cuffs on the sleeves. On her head, a winged cap. Ihle p. 20, no. 50: Josina Hamels displays the costume of the citizens of those days: a winged cap over the coif, in which her hair is gathered; small ruffled collar; bodice with double shoulder rolls, under which sleeves of a different kind; white apron.
