The personifications of Faith and Innocence protect a young man against the arrows aimed at him by Envy. To the right in the background, the same young man encounters the Christian Faith. Below the representation is a text in Latin, numbered in the left margin: 5. The print is part of a series of allegorical prints on the life of man.
