About this work
In the right foreground, seven priests blowing ram's horns walk towards Jericho, followed by the Ark of the Covenant. In the background, the walls of the city of Jericho are crumbling. Joshua stands in the foreground giving the order to attack the city of Jericho (Josh. 6:8-21). The print has a Hebrew, Latin, French, English, German, and Dutch inscription.
