The Hague Fair with the Prince and Princess of Orange, 1686

The Hague fair held in 1686 on the Buitenhof, with the parading militia from the Noyelleshuis (later Vijverhof) on the left between the stalls across the market to the gate where salute shots are fired for the princely couple watching from the window in the Stadholder's Quarter. On the right stands the prince's guard on horseback in front of the Kaatsbaan and the Komedie. In the sky two angels with the princely coat of arms of Willem III. At the bottom the dedication in 4 lines in French and the legends 1-14 in Dutch and French.
