The Hague Fair with the Prince and Princess of Orange, 1686

Hague Fair held in 1686 on the Buitenhof, with the parading militia from the Noyelleshuis (later Vijverhof) on the left between the stalls across the market to the gate where salutes are fired for the princely couple watching from a window in the Stadholder's Quarters. On the right the prince's guard on horseback is stationed before the Kaatsbaan and the Komedie. In the sky two angels with the princely coat of arms of William III. At the bottom the dedication in four lines in French and legends 1–14 in Dutch and French.
