About this work
Christ is a guest for a meal in the house of Simon the Pharisee. A sinner anoints Christ's feet and dries them with her hair. Next to her stands the alabaster jar. Christ is in conversation with Simon. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 7.
