About this work

At a long table, the guests of the king sit at the wedding feast. They are people from the street: the woman in the front has crutches next to her. The king gives the order on the left to bind the man without festive clothing hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness. Below the image, a Latin reference to the biblical text in Matthew 22.
