Daughter of a merchant from London, in profile to the right, with hair combed tightly back ending at the back of the head in a double round braid. From the eyebrows and around the neck the lower hair hangs curled to the shoulders. Jacket consisting of tight laced bodice with low straight neckline and ending in a point center front, with short skirt, elbow-length straight sleeves with narrow shoulder cuffs and floor-length, loose skirt slightly dragging at the back. Over the neckline a double-folded plain neckerchief. Long under-sleeves with plain turned-back cuffs. Long, white apron. Long plain gloves. Feathered fan on long loop at the waist.
