Saint Agatha, Saint Dorothea, Saint Romuald of Camaldoli, Saint Paul of Verdun (5-8 February)

Sheet with four oval images, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Agatha whose breasts are cut off by an executioner, top right Saint Dorothea bound to a stake, bottom right Saint Romuald with a walking stick and a book in his hands, bottom left Saint Paul of Verdun with a palm branch in his hand. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) are cut in the third state into 12 small plates, and issued with a separate title page.
