Monument to Hendrik Danielsz. Hooft, burgomaster of Amsterdam. On the monument stands his portrait, laurelled by Minerva. She holds a spear with the liberty cap in her other hand. To the left, three putti play with the portrait of Cicero. Above in the center, the all-seeing eye of God. At the bottom in the margin, a text in Dutch.
