About this work

Winged radiant personification of Religion tramples Death in the form of a skeleton with scythe and with a leg in the grave. Religion leans on a wooden cross and holds in one hand an open book designated as the gospel of peace, in the other hand reins. Against a landscape ravaged by war. In the inscription a dialogue in the form of question and answer between Man and Religion in Latin and Hungarian.
