About this work

Venus and Amor play dice at a round table. Also on the table lie human hands, eyes, a heart, and a mouth. Meanwhile, Amor leads a heart to two dogs standing behind him. In the foreground, putti stoke a fire under a cauldron in which another putto lies. Various gods look on around them. Three cartouches with Italian text in the lower margin.
