About this work
Five bears with laurel wreaths on their heads walk in a row. They form part of a triumphal procession of Emperor Maximilian I. In front of them walks a hunter as standard-bearer on horseback. He carries a hunting horn and a standard with a blank cartouche with space for text. Above the rider a blank text band is depicted.
