About this work

The Emperor kneels before the enthroned Pope and kisses his feet. The Pope makes a blessing gesture. Next to him stand other clergymen and in front of him kneel more men of royal origin. Book illustration in a rectangular frame with fine ornaments. This print is printed with multiple woodblocks. At the top of the sheet stands the half title of the edition: und Antichristi, at the bottom stands the word Antichristus.
