About this work

Evangelical jubilee print for the celebration of the second centenary of the Reformation, 31 October 1717. Central depiction with Luther and Melanchton at an altar on which the Divine Fire burns the False Doctrine, in a border decorated with portraits of Hus and Luther, three scenes from the life of Luther, biblical leaders and the personifications of Truth, Faith, Hope, Love and Constancy. To the left and right of the depiction the explanation in printed text.
