True image of Mr. Quinquempoix. Portrait medallion of John Law as Mr. Quinquempoix above a brewing kettle in which coins are transformed into shares. Witch's cauldron with devils, owls etc. Above the portrait Folly with a crown of peacock feathers and holly leaves. Above this a scroll with: No. 1 Of Stront of King. This print printed within a larger plate with title and verses in French on both sides. Print 37 in the series The Great Picture of Folly with caricatures on the Wind Trade or Share Trade of 1720.
