About this work
The miraculously undecayed body of the Blessed Idesbald Van der Gracht (Ter Duinen), buried in 1167 and found in 1625 (or November 13, 1623) in the abbey of Our Lady Ten Duinen in Koksijde, and displayed in the abbey farm Ten Bogaerde. Around the body on a state bed, a group of onlookers has gathered, including Isabella Clara Eugenia and Ambrogio Spinola. In the margin, a four-line inscription in French.
