About this work

Inspiration is veiled and wrapped in a garment. She points to the flame that flickers above her head, symbol of inspiration. Her hand rests on an open book, on the right lie sheets of paper and two book rolls lean against a pedestal. In the sky filled with dark clouds behind her, the sun breaks through.
