About this work
Allegory on the Alliance concluded between the Batavian Republic and France, 1795. In the center Liberty sitting on a throne, behind her Commerce, on the left Equality and on the right Religion (a preacher). On the steps on the left two children as Commerce and Engineering, on the right two children as Brotherhood. In the clouds the Alliance with the French and Dutch coats of arms. In front of the caption with the explanation of the representation.
