About this work

A garden with a pond. In the foreground a worm is put on a hook by a putto. In the middle a putto fishes in the garden pond and in the background a fish is caught. In the foreground to the left a vase on a pedestal with the representation of Adam and Eve in the garden. On the pedestal a representation of the personification Fraud. In the foreground to the right also a vase with the representation of the Judas kiss. The pedestal bears a representation of the personification Deceit. In the background a monument with a representation of the Jewish Exile.
