About this work

Christ and his bride, sitting in a landscape with grapevines in the foreground. Christ points upwards where the Holy Spirit can be seen in the form of a dove. In the background to the left date palms and a deer. On the right in the background a crowd listens to a sermon. The print has a Latin inscription about the Song of Solomon and is the fourth print of a six-print series.
