About this work

Central a penitent accompanied by Divine Mercy (Misericordia Dei) toward the personification of Repentance (Poenitentia), who sits on a throne under the Tetragram. Sin (Peccatum), a devil with goat's feet, tries to stop Divine Mercy. Title print of a series about penance and repentance in the Old and New Testament and has a Latin title and inscription.
