About this work
The sixth article of faith: the belief in the ascension of Christ. The print shows two angels in the clouds showing the apostles of Christ and the Virgin Mary a vision of the Holy Trinity. The print has a Latin inscription with a Bible quote referring to the depicted Bible story and a Latin caption on the Apostles' Creed. The sixth print in a twelve-part series on the Creed.
