About this work

Father Time reveals a monument with the bust of William V, Prince of Orange-Nassau. The bust is supported by an allegorical female figure with a liberty cap on a staff and a female figure with a Bible. In the foreground the female personification of Truth, History, with laurel wreath and book, points to the image of William V.
