About this work

Apostle Peter rebukes Ananias and Sapphira, who had kept a part of their possessions hidden so they did not have to share them with the Christian community. By Peter's words both die. In the background their bodies are buried. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a 34-part series with the subject the Acts of the Apostles.
