About this work

A two-part print with an allegory on the victory of King Louis XIV. Louis XIV sits on a horse and tramples his enemies in the form of monsters and personifications of opponents and vices. The Holy Trinity holds the French crown above the king's head. Next to her, two angels, one holding a flag with territories conquered by France.
