About this work
The rich man served abundantly in his house. In the kitchen an elaborate feast is prepared. Before the door of the house lies the poor Lazarus, a beggar, starving to death. Two dogs lick his wounds. In the background, in a landscape, it is seen how the rich man ends up in the fire of hell, and Lazarus is taken up to heaven.
