About this work

Ornament for plate border. Upper half: Isaac lies on a bed and gives his blessing to his son Jacob who kneels before the bed. On the right Rebekah watches. On the left in the doorway Esau. Lower half: On the right the meal for the wedding of Jacob and Leah. On the left a view into a bedroom with the birth of Leah's child. Both halves with Latin caption in cartouche.
