About this work

Ornament for plate border. Upper half: Jacob and his family riding on donkeys, returning to Canaan. Lower half: Jacob and Rachel embrace each other at the well of Haran. Rachel was busy watering her father's sheep. Jacob's men remove the stone from the well for her. With Latin text in cartouches.
