At the bottom a Greek landscape with the river Pindus and the mountain Parnassus. On the right Apollo plays the lute, surrounded by the nine Muses. On the left the Seasons (Horae) pick flowers. In the distance lies Delphi. In the margin a Latin inscription with an explanation of the west wind. The print is part of a four-part series on the four cardinal winds.
