About this work

The personification of the Christian Religion (Religio Christiana) with the Cross of Christ. Above her head flies the Holy Spirit as a Dove and a vision of heaven with the tetragram appears. Christian Religion tramples the personification of Idolatry (Idolatria), a king with a scepter next to the Golden Calf and a saint's image.
