About this work
A frame with, in the center above, an angel on the open tomb of Christ. The angel tells the women that Christ has risen. On the right, two disciples at the tomb. Through the two openings in the ground, two appearances of the risen Christ are visible. On the right, the appearance to Mary Magdalene (Noli Mi Tangere). In the center below, a cartouche with Christ at table in Emmaus.
