Satirical print on the temporarily suspended publication and alleged end of the Orangist magazine titled 'Ouderwetsche Nederlandsche patriot' on December 31, 1781. Four speakers with a dog cart stop at the house of The Hague court bookseller P.F. Gosse to collect the corpse. In the hearse, a man (possibly Gosse) in a wheelbarrow with a painting, R.M. van Goens with Miss ten Bosch in a cage, Pastor Hofstede, a man (E. Luzac) on a sled with two paintings, two Rotterdam booksellers, and the Duke of Brunswick. Further jesters and devils and a large procession of weeping persons. In the caption, two four-line verses. The print is accompanied by a text sheet with a funeral poem explaining the scene.
