About this work
Map of the wide surroundings of the city of Namur with parts of the provinces of Brabant, Namur and Hainaut. Here the positions of the allied and French troops are indicated during the siege of Namur from July 3 to September 5, 1695. Bottom right an allegorical cartouche in which lions drive away the French roosters. Top right a cartouche with an explanation of the symbols used. Bottom, left of center, a scale bar: Deux Lieues communes du Pays.
