About this work

Satirical print on the Austrian general d'Alton. The excrement of Austrian soldiers is collected and stored in barrels. On the left the general at a toilet. Also in connection with the shooting in Brussels on 22 January 1788. With a French inscription of five lines. Part of a large group of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787–1790.
