Portrait of priest Joost, standing holding a chalice in his hands. In the background on the left he sits in a cart, on the right he kneels by the gallows. According to the caption he was hanged by the Geuzen of Lumey at Brielle in August 1571 (=1572?). The image is framed with a three-line Dutch caption.
