The Dutch Lion, with spear, liberty cap, and privileges, on behalf of the States-General presents the sword to William of Orange to combat Spanish tyranny, 1572. To the right, the broken printing press; in the background, the prince's army. To the left, legends 1–5, and below the image, two verses of four lines in Dutch. Printed on the verso with music.
