Satirical print on the interference of Louis XIV in the English succession, 1689. Nursery where Queen Mary of Modena lies in bed and is visited by a German doctor examining her urine. In the center an angry Louis XIV (Harlequin) being held back by William III, to the left three Algerians or Turks. In the foreground to the left Cardinal von Fürstenburg receives an enema, to the right the child James Francis Edward, the supposititious child (the Prince of Wales) with a windmill by two lovers taking an oath of silence. With a subtitle of 2 times 2 lines and on a sheet below the scene a verse of 2 columns with an explanation of the numbers 1-12 in Dutch.
