About this work

Naval review at the departure of William III from Hellevoetsluis to England, 11 November 1688. A crowd of people on the quay waves goodbye to the prince who sails in a pink to the ship that will take him to England. At the top, the prince's coat of arms surrounded by various allegorical figures. Attached under the print, a text sheet with a description of the events, the legend of the numbers 1-12, and a list of the ships that make up the fleet, in four columns in Dutch.
