Allegory on two plates in honor of William III upon his arrival in England, 1688. On the upper plate, William III with his retinue standing between Eendracht and the Duke of Schomberg. Behind the prince stand Bentinck and Torrington. Opposite him, Britannia kneels with a yoke and the portrait of Mary Stuart. On the lower plate, to the left under the coat of arms of James II, three scenes of his misrule, including the birth of the miller's child; in the center, the arrival of William III in England and his entry into London; to the right under the coat of arms of William III, three scenes of the prince's departure from the Netherlands and the arrival of his boat on the coast. All scenes numbered I-VIII with captions in English and Dutch. At the bottom center, the formation in which the fleet sailed to England, with legends for numbers 1-21 in Dutch and English.
