About this work

The first scene in the Drie Hoeken at the Huidevetterstraat of the rhetoricians' chamber De Violieren, with a representation of the alliance between David and Jonathan, a metaphor for the alliance between Orange and Anjou. Part of the description of the entry of the Duke of Anjou into Antwerp, 19 February 1582.
