Three polar bears near the stranded ship, 15 September 1596. A man shoots at the polar bear; the shooter is protected by two men with halberds. Copies of the original illustrations in the travel report of the voyage of Willem Barendsz and Jacob van Heemskerck in 1596-1597 and the stay on the island of Nova Zembla, No. 13.
